Thanks for all the responses Guys! Been conversing with a gentleman from "Texas Industrial Electric" who make adapters and/or cables. Think this is the way I might go. Either that or I have looked at the Lokar and may cut my own. Has anyone heard of Texas Industrial Electric?

Don't know anything about Texas Industrial electric but their web site looks promising for speedo related items. Before I put the T5 in my pickup I had a '70's top loader imposter (3 plus OD). It was a metric transmission so I had to change from KMH to MpH and I bought an adapter similar to Texas Industrial Electric's part FDGMA from Mr. Speedometer in Calgary Alberta so I could attach a ratio changer. I also got some driven gears from PATC (Transmission Centre) in Louisiana I think. They show the adapters for Ford transmissions but were not able to provide one. They claimed that the entire supply of these adapters had been sold to an outfit in Canada (Mr. Speedometer).

Thanks for the response, I went with Texas Industries as after a phone call they seemed to know what they were talking about. Ordered a custom cable, $60.00 plus $8.00 for shipping. This seemed pretty reasonable to me!

look in your local phone book for speedometer service. Most all of those guys can make cables with whatever length and ends you need. I had one made for my car. Cost was $47.00 and it fit perfectly

Jim

Forgot to add: If you can't find one, call your local Highway Patrol, Sheriff's office, etc. They will give you someone who can do this, as they have stuff calibrated all the time
