My dad bought it from Ernie Myers Ford in Greenville Ohio and sold used cars up the road when getting out of the Ford dealership, the last time I was in the area the building was empty so I figured he died or retired from selling cars. I Googled his name last night and another location came up,dont know if its up to date but saturday morning I will be heading up there to see if he is still around. He must be real old or was about my dads age when the 55 was purchased as I would think a dealer that sold a car new in 55 would not be around today, would like to drive the 55 but it has not rained enough to get the salt off the road so I will take the invoice with me.

I just got back from talking to Ernie Myers and he is almost 100 years old,the Google listing was old so I went back to his old dealership and they told me where to find him so I looked him up. He is in a nursing home and still has a good mind but alot slower in getting around so we chatted for about a 1/2 hour and he told me the salesman is still alive so I will look him up next.

This is a great bit of research. Wouldn't it be great if you could get a picture of Meyers with your T-Bird? Maybe get one with the salesman also?

It would have been hard to get a picture of him with the car since he does not get around too good now and I forgot the camera.
