Do any of you north and central Texas yblockers have gatherings of any kind?

nothing in the Houston area that I know of... wish there was!

Not a yblock event but the Texas Thaw has vintage drag racing. You'll see some Y's there. Check on The HAMB for details. I know Ted goes and either with his Y roadster or his other cars.

How does Texas thaw, I never thought it froze?

I gather at Teds place when I can work close enough, no racing but lots to drool about and to see a build run on the dyno is awesome.

Yea I've been on the hamb for a few years now. And I've been to the thaw a few times and the roundup 7 or 8 times as well as most of the open type shows. Just curious if there were any yblock specific events or runs or bbqs.

I too would like a Y-Block event in North Texas (DFW)..

There was a annual Y-Block Shootout/Birdpalooza at Cedar Creek, but has stopped..
