I have just reintalled the Fordomatic in my Aust 58 Customline with a 272 and there is a bracket that slips over the dipstick tube to brace it, but I cannot see anywhere for it to bolt to.
It is about 3 inches long and has a angled flat section with a 3/8 hole.
It doesn't line up with anything like the starter or manifold or head that I can see.
Help please for a dumbass with a short memory that can't remember where it was unbolted from

If your bracket won't line up with any bolts, try slipping it up off the tube and turning it over. It has weird angles that get even weirder when the bracket is upside down.
