I would like to buy a decent 2-dr front seat for my 58 Ranchero. I think any 57-58 2-dr seat would fit.

I am in Ruston,La. Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Some frt seat backs are notched at the top middle and some are not (believe it was the low line models w/o).

I think you are correct after looking at two horrible seats today.  Still looking for a 57-58 Custom 2-dr seat, Thanks!

If you can find a seat frame repo covers are available. Broken springs can be welded. Rusty can be dipped. A good 50+ yr old original seat will be hard to find.

Good luck,

Ron.

P/S When I was kid I had a model train based on The Natchez, Urainia & Ruston RR.

Ever hear of it?

I haven't heard of the railroad line, but all three towns are still here, Ruston,LA, Natchez, MS and Urania, LA(very small).

The seats I found had been out in the weather for years, I think mores sound pieces should be available. I have already purchased NORS covers, so my seat search has turned serious!  Thanks, James Q

When I get back to my local old yard I will see if there are any 57/8 2 doors that still have the front seat.

A '59 seat should be the same as well.  '59 fords seem to be easier to find in my area.   I have some seats, but I am too far away here in Texas.
