In the Dec. issue of Hot Rod, there is a picture of Tim Allens 1955 ford that is being built at Moal Coachworks www.moal.com . It has a T-Bird hood scoop and T-bird dash.  Looks very nice. wonder why no one ever did that before? It does not have a Y-Block but at least it is all Ford, 800hp 5.4 32 valve supercharged GT engine.

eh, poor Tim... guess he used up all his "skills" on Tool Time building that 48 Ford hotrod... or maybe rebuilding Jill's Nomad after he dropped that giant piece of I-beam on top of it, to be able to build his own real car.  Well, at least he's keeping it American with a Ford!

Tim Allen is a total Hot Rodder. He used to do a lot of the work on his cars. I think he has been successful enough that he has the pro's (?) do it for him. He still has some very cool ideas when it comes to cars. I wonder how many he owns at one time? Would love to meet the guy at a RodRun sometime. Chuck

I was at the Laguna Seca Raceway presentation when he and Steve Saleen introduced the S7. Absolutely an awesome car with major innovative Ford power. The Steve Moal black roadster built for Allen was a major work of art.
