You didn't provide a link to where you saw them? is this something that somebody is starting to reproduce? I have never seen original cast covers for a merc Y, other than for the Lincoln 368 version of Y's.

I also had heard of Merc having a factory finned valve cover. Kinda like T Birds have only sporting the MERCURY script. Never seen one but according to people that have more experience than I do they do exist. More "hens teeth". Although cool for the Merc crowd they would not be right under the hood of a Ford. Still wouldnt mind hoarding a pair away. Oldmics

I think that the ones that are availiable are super cool I would like to see the ones that Gary has just for comparison purposes.I assume Garys are "Y" Block and not MEL style covers? Oldmics

Oldmic, Yes Gary's are y-block, highly polished, and are more of the t-bird style, the Mecrury ones showen are nice, but the pair Gary has are out standing!!!!
