Bill, sad to say, it is looking more and more like we want make Columbus this year. I have had two skin cancer surguries already this year. I have a doc appointment tomorrow and most likely have to have another one removed this month. Based on the recovery time of the other two, I don't think I'll fill up to the trip. I think I have all the small bugs worked out with the car now, but have not gotten it down the track yet. Evertime I set up a trip to test and tune, it gets rained out. I have ran 5gals of 110 racing gas through it just playing around the yard and back street. I really hate to miss out  on seeing everyone, but I can make several trips to the local tracks for what it will cost just to drive up and stay 3 nights. I don't want to drag it up there if I don't think I have a chance to win. With all that said, I may change my mind before the end of the month.

Dang Glen, I didn't know you'd had trouble with the C....Hoping and praying everything turns out well at the docs. If you're not able to make it up, I will be coming back through Birmingham on Labor Day, stopping at BlueBloods (Bill Kruegers) to pick up the other 292s that I bought from him. If I can get done there early enough, I may try to swing by if you're feeling up to it. Me and my dad are going up to Columbus, so I hope to see you there, if not, you get well soon, my friend.

Thanks guys, just got back from the doc's, I have to wait a few days on the biopsy results, but she was sure that it will require more work. But better to get it over with sooner than later.

Charlie the show and race is sep 23/24 in Panama City, FL. I'll start a post about it when I know if I will make it or not.

Glen I hope you feel good enough to come to Columbus, just for the fellowship, even if you don't bring a car,a lot of your friends would like to see you make it to the show.  If you remember last year I came without a car and rode around in a handicap cart,all weekend, but still had a good time.
