Guys, sign of the times over here, the economy is hurting despite what the news may say. August each year we have biggest swap meet in the state, held at cessnock showgrounds, sellers generally 3/4 fill up the spots on friday afternoon, its a great camp out with log fires and near freezing conditions but is fun. The swap starts sat thru to sunday but this year there were many many empty sites and that was sat morning, which generally fills up with late sellers etc.

On a brighter note i did buy some well priced 55 customline parts and a great home made tripower boat intake with 3 Tillitson type Y-R 2 single barrel carbs etc. bit like a U Fab intake. I just love the different intakes that existed for our y block engines! The carbs are all free and smooth, linkage works correctly and has single choke carb with cable. Definitly never seen one with tillitson carbs and am working on what they may have been originally fitted to. I know most were for small bike, agriculteral engines etc.

I had a stall there Bill but I didn't see you.

Relax, I wasn't selling any of my Customline stuff there that we discussed, just all the junk that has accumulated around the place.

Still made a profit of $400 after I went shopping for goodies but my eye wasn't as keen as yours and I didn't see any Y Block stuff

Bill, that's a great find. I was particularly interested in the innovation of the progressive linkage - gives you infinite adjustment for when the secondary carbs open.

Great score.

Shame you didn't come over with Pete on sunday arvo.

It would've given you a chance to peruse all the bits.

I will be back in the shed at 8am this saturday if you still want to look as I have been storing a relos furniture there and they are getting it out then.

Once all their crap is out of the way I can spread the crates of Customline parts out and see what I have got.

Bit like Christmas!!!!
