Have a chance to pick up good running '84 Bird w/5.0 for $400. and would like to know what I could use off it for my 1954 Ford 4-door. Guess switching bodies is out of the question and don't even know if those are rear wheel drive cars. Not something I have to do just hate to pass up a bargin, so I'm asking you professionals what I should do? Thanks....

the 84 tbirds are good and bad, the good is , if it's a 5 speed, it has 4 barrel carb, and aluminum intake. 7.5 rear , 2:73 ratio   non computer motor, if it's aod auto, it's the first throttle body  ,with some sort of brain. it's all 4 lug wheels.  reg. hy. cam too , has all power 1800 rpm, gutless on the top end, cast iron exhaust manifolds too .
