With the mini starters you dont have to go through shoulder surgery after the installation .

I have one also and it does work well. I didn't use the original rubber seal with mine and at first I had a few misses with the ring gear. It hasn't missed lately so I think it will be fine.

Ordered one today, Jack was great to talk with and answering all my questions.

As soon as this and my new intake (edelbrock 573 bought on e bay last week) arrives I can get back to the dyno and then into the truck. Will post results and photos soon.

Something else is the mini starter uses the other side of the flywheel so if you have bad teeth on the original side this helps a lot. Not sory I changed either.  Gerry
