Ran across this and tried to convince my wife that it would be great behind the Thunderbird, but she wants something newer behind the pick-up.

Really cool though.

I've seen a few of those around, pretty neat the way the package with the boat and trailer fit together. Here's some more info; http://woodyboater.com/communityweb/1954-kom-pak-sportsman-are-hotel-prices-getting-you-down/

There is another one on e-pay; http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1950s-Vintage-Travel-Trailer-Rare-Ford-Boat-Kom-Pak-/110672539701?pt=RVs_Campers#ht_1326wt_827

The picture of the car and trailer together is a car that sold at Barrett-Jackson. It was totaly restored and even had the cook stove and pans that folded down in the back of the trailer. I had never seen one and now I have seen three! I don't remember who built them. Man that one on epay is a little "ROUGH".

Gary, They are Kom-Pak Sportsman made in Medford, Oregon. The one on e-pay is for sale bythe same guy that had the restored one on Barrett's.
