David ,

Great photos .How good is it to see some real motors in Hot Rods .Sure beats seeing another 350/350  combo .Just goes to show you how COOL a Y Block looks with a bit of bling ? Keep living the dream .

David, drove home all day yesterday and nite nearly 14 hrs, had good time hunting out y block cars there, i missed the black T and you missed andy morriss,s old custom hotrod. Jason camilleris gold 32 was nice and had alum f/cover and w/pump that he had brought years back. The black/white 56 vic is ray kilby. i caught up with many customers i only met on the phone and MOZ with his nice family, we wandered around looking at y blocks and chatting etc. I was so happy that my new coupe ran as it should, through massive rain storms, no hood! and over 2400 kms of stuff roads we have here. Pulled into my garage last nite and gave her a pat and thanked her for the reliabile service. I,m getting emotional here but thats how i feel about my y block cars. Dave, great pics, i met so many people i cant remember all their names and some of their faces. On Andy morris,s car, he is getting very old now but has had that car and been to every event in Australia for over 40 yrs or more , his y block engine has needle roller bearings in the cam tunnels and hard sleeves on the cam journals and is great machinest. Best regards to everyone.Smile

oh yeah i forgot the best part of the go to whoa was all the scrub engines not able to do decent burn outs & then stalling on the stop line best burn out belonged to a vicky that had a cleveland in it best sounding engine & one of the quickest was a 58-59 customline with a y-block.
