I know it's not Y-Block related, but I know some of you guys do some fab & bodywork like me. This is a nice little welder, used very little. Includes the regulator, gas lines, and about 80% of a .023"roll of wire (for gas shielded welding).

Very handy to plug into a 110V wall socket and go. Doesn't include a cart or bottle, but it's yours for $350 including shipping in the 48 states.

Picked this up when they started closing down the shop @ work and liquidating the equipment. Not the same deal as the drill press though.

Don't really want to spend the money right now to finish setting up for alumium welding. Rather turn this into a plasma cutter "fund"

Todd: Does the Welder provide full ampherage on a 15 Amp breaker?

The owners guide indicates using a 20A circuit. Having said that, I only have 15A circuits in my garage. I've tripped them with my H/F metal chop saw, but never had an issue with the welder. Granted, I never ran the balls off of it either. I only ever did sheet metal work, with .023 wire.

I have a big 220V Lincoln for the more serious projects.

This is a good welder for body, floor, and light structural repairs.

A follow up note on 110 Volt wire feed Welders. Often they are advertised as just plug them in, and that they are capable of welding somewhat heavier guages. What isn't mentioned, is that they often require a 20 or 25 Amp circuit, to reach full output, which most homes and many shops don't have. Just because the welder may run a bead on heavier gauges, on a 15 Amp circuit, doesn't mean it has proper penitration & fusion...
