Has anyone seen the November issue with the Park Lane wagon?....What a sweet looking ride. Especially like the 1955 Olds headlight rims and would like to know how hard and what would be involved in making the switch. After seeing the one color paint job have now decided to forget the two tone I was planning for my '55 and going for the solid color...probably the same color he used (hope he won't mind). That rear bumper and exhaust tips are cool also as well as the rear wheel openings...I think I love that car!

Straight out the back exhausts on a wagon is not a good idea, exhaust fumes can be sucked back into the car if the tailgates don't seal well or you run with the window open.

Super Cool or turned into vegetable...Hey, we can't live forever. I'm sure you are right and hope that Bill Story doesn't experience any such problems with that wagon...as for me, my car is a Town Sedan and just wishful thinking about bumper

That Parklane was at the Pleasanton, Cal GoodGuys West Coast Nationals last weekend. It was parked out on the grass near the back entrance. I looked it over and it is really an exercise in tasteful changes. Overall, it gave the wagon a lighter, less bulky look. Great attention to detail but missing a Y Block though. Really nice work. The reworked rear window using the Mustang(?) windshield was beautiful. I agree about the headlights and also the redone rear fender wells.
