Anyone know of someone who is good at rebuilding Stromberg 97's at a somewhat reasonable price? I met a guy at Pate last year, but lost his card (think he was from Oklahoma), didn't really care for the looks of the carbs the one guy who was there this year. FWIW: I'm interested in both working good and looking good. Thanks.

While I have no experience with this guy, he is supposed to be very good with Strombergs. Cost - don't know. His name is "Uncle Max" and he posts both on the HAMB (www.jalopyjournl.com) and Ford Barn (www.fordbarn.com)

I had Dick do mine and I was very pleased.  The man has a 2 car garage stuffed with carbs, at least 2 573's and a work bench with a 4x2 set up for a Hemi running 94's among others.  He is located in Indiana.    dickshotrodplace@aol.com

I second the recommendation for Dick. Does alot of work on 94's, 97's & multiple carb set-ups. I just purchased parts for some 94's for a project I'm working on from him. Carries a good stock of parts and will discuss any questions you have. He's the go-to guy for multiple carb set-ups over on the H.A.M.B.
