That's pretty neat!  I like the way he made the pass. side exhaust manifold.   He was very good at making do with what was around.

I'm too much a skeptic.  Karol has never mentioned to me that he tried a turbo, nor have I read anything about it.  The year 1959 was mentioned, but remember he drove a '60 Ford at Bonneville in '60.  He had abandoned the Y by then.

That's an old Turbonics unit. Intended for street use. Does not look to me like a K Miller engineered set up. It's done well but not Bonneville grade stuff.
