Hi Bill   have a look at www.badgerlandf100s.com   menu tech corner.  It's a full pictorial of how to fit a S10 T5 into a 3 speed    63 F100. Not a mustang T5 but lots of food for thought.

Y-Guys: Just finished the T-5 in my '60 F100/292. What a difference.I'm keeping up with fast traffic at only 1800/1900rpm. I used Mummert's adapter and everything fit great. I guess now,

I'll remove the 3.25 rear-end (2 mo's old) and put in the the 3.89...
