Hi Jim Thanks to you and Ted for the video. Did you get the one from Harry's back window and I vainly tried to chase him down?

Here ya go Doug! I will try to make sure that we get LOTS more video next year, even if I have to be the video mover and have the rest of the gang do the still stuff. Speaking of, there are hundreds upon hundreds of pictures to wade through, will start posting galleries as I build them. Harry Hutten's Merc and looking for Doug in the other lane.

This video is of Wally making a run, the cam was pointed down too low so it metered on the seat instead of the outside. The result is that outside is blown out. You still get to hear that awesome motor of Wally's getting after it! Wally Kerstein making a run

That is great! I'm going to try to get more video, too. I got more this year than I did last year. I need to get the rest of my pictures to you, Jim. Ted left before I could give him my Sunday shots.

Shoot me an e-mail to jculver@y-blocksforever.com and I will send you my snail mail address. I really like the idea of in-car video, may purchase another one of those little cameras so we can get much more next year. It was an idea and obviously kinda neat once we work out the bugs.

Jim, You are half way there! Now all you have to do is buy another 5 or 6 cameras. Place cameras in various vantage points around the track and figure out a way to stream LIVE via the internet! I will put in a call to FOX NEWS tonight (Ruphert Murdock, another Aussie who made good in USA)! Lon PS. LOVE the videos

GREAT VIDEOS. KEEP 'EM COMING.
It is one thing to see photos, but there is nothing like video to really appreciate the moment.
I wouldn't involve Fox or ESPN. You would end up with some prat waffling about the weather and just wanting to get an advert in somewhere while blowing smoke up there own behinds.
Anyway thanks for making the effort to show us a bit of what the nationals were like.
Much appreciated.
Regards

We have seen spectator vantage point videos, but putting the camera inside the car (or on the roll bar as in Ted's Roadster) gives a totally new perspective to what is happening. I have a couple more videos that I can wheedle down to youtube size, will do that in the next few days but for now, I am working on getting the photo galleries put together and online.
