I would like to say thank you to everyone associated with this forum from your opinions to those who keep it running.  This is a great site where everyone is willing to help and very knowledgable.  I stumbled onto this site about a year and a half ago when I  started looking my options and it was becuase of all of you that I ended up deciding to rebuild my 272 Y block.  Many a people thought I was making the wrong decision but I am here to say I did not.  I still have some work to do but I wanted to say thanks.

A special thanks must be given to Tim the engine builder.  It is a long way from Indiana to Califonia but it was worth all the time, trouble, money and many a phone call.  Thanks

Enjoy!!

Sounds good! So will we see you this weekend? It's only a 4 1/2 hour drive. You're practically there!

Sounds great even with the 2bbl. It would be a shame not to make the "break-in" trip to Columbus!BigGrin

Y's guys rule!
Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Charlie and Moon, I was hoping to make to Columbus this year but it is not going to work out. Take lots of pictures so I can see what a good time I missed.  Maybe next year.

Mark, valley cover and the air cleaner are from Charlie Price in FL (vintage speed) and Tim put the filler neck in.  The valve covers came from Mummert in CA.  Paint job by yours truely.  Headers are sanderson long tubes that were cermanic coated by Jet Hot.

Here is what it should look like when I get the 3x2 setup bugs worked out and on.
