There is a ford show and drags at Mason / Dixon Dragway 21003 National Pike Boonsboro MD this saturday the 22nd. I've never been there, but I'm going this saturday. Any one else?

Hi Dennis,

I have been there several times but it is too far from L'ville to visit now.  It is a very nice track in a beautiful setting and seems to be pretty well run.  The pit area is almost all grass and mostly in the sun so bring stuff accordingly.

Well, between showers I got one pass in. Made a rookie mistake though. I let off the gas after I passed the scoreboards, however the scoreboards weren't at the finish line. I had a couple hundred yards to go yet. The only good thing was I had an .003 light. I think I'm getting a handle on these lights.



The races were postponed 'till tomorrow - sunday. Were going back again.

Today was a good day. Danny O'Day the worlds fastest wheelstanding 1/4 miler stopped by as we were setting up. He stopped to talk y blocks. He has a 57 custom 300. I tried talking him into coming to Columbus, left a flyer in his hauler. He runs a 34 ford 9.1 @ 155mph on 2 wheels.



I had a .043 in my time trial, bogged on start. My.003 yesterday was good for a 1st round bye today. I had a .002 and ran a 18.58 on a 18.80. Glad for the bye.



Round 2 .089 and a 18.495 on a 18.50. Other guy broke out worse.



Round 3 -.084 red 18.60 on a 18.48 ended up 3rd place. Good practice for Columbus.



After I was finished 3 guys looked me up in the pits. Wanted to see my 312
