Burning rubber or gun powder, either one is fine with me.

re: my Y-Blocks: Like most business owners, mine come last. Simply put they're in a state of disrepair. I got back into Y-Blocks in 1994 when I bought a 1954 F-100, like I had when I was 19.

It still looks like the day I brought it home. Uhg-lee.

If you watched any of the Bullrun series on Speed Channel you might have seen the green Team Dart Mopar. Paul and son Tony are good friends and we built the 414cu in small block mopar for the car in trade for a paint job on my truck. If I can just find time to get the truck to him.

Thanks for the welcome..BigGrin

Mr Y-Guy Hisself(that's what "honest charlie" would say...)

Welcome!  Please give some thought to coming to Columbus

this year. Frank, hopefully has his U-joint fixed, Vic has  some

new head gaskets, and if you "cheer" them on, you could take

"orders" after each round. Everyone would want to show YOU

how good "your" parts work, me included.

Jokes aside, give it some thought, everyone would enjoy

            seeing you.                Thanks, Bill

Welcome, John Mummert.  I have referenced your web site for the vast knowledge you impart, for the benefit of all Y-Block restorers.

Periodically, I find myself re-visiting your site 'just to make sure' before I buy used parts or retrofit OEM.  Great site, John.  Thanks again for sharing your vast experiences, references, and Y-Block resources.

Thanks again to all of you for the warm welcome. Charley, are you headed to Bonneville this year? If so, good luck.
