Ok fellas, I had big plans for this motor, but have come into a 312 and I don't have room for this anymore!

This is a dearborn block. Appears to be astandard bore 272. One cylinder has pitting. Motor spun half turn with starter and hasn't moved since.

Has ford ebvmain bearings original? The rod caps are numbered so it may of had those replaced. Motor was full of antifreeze until recent draining. Will come with car pan instead of truck pan pictured. Stand not included. Located in akron, OH. Have cherry picker to load.$25 orTrade for a B intake, or a rebuildable holley 4brl under 500CFM.

Mr4speedford...$50 bucks sounds like a great price, I'm sure someone on the east coast will snap that up, but it is just too far for us.  I need a 272 block for our third engine to run in the 2010 season.  If anyone on the west coast can help I would appreciate it.  Thanks for letting me use your thread.

Steve...I washed your pickup today.  That is going to be a great truck waiting for you when you get back.

Cereal Killer...I watch Gearz from time to time and Stacy David says quite often "when things get tough I get the BFH".  Now I know what he is talking about.

Charlie:

I'm far from the west coast, but I have at least one 272 core, also a 256 truck core.  If you make it to Columbus again this year, I could bring one there.  Probably a little late to be starting on a 2010 engine though, Tim would have to work some overtime.  But I'm sure he has lots of spare time, like I do.  How did I ever find time to go to work before I retired?

Tim:

I knew.  My reply was tongue-in-cheek.  But I'm serious about supplying a block to Charlie and you, but logistics is the problem.

John,

Thanks for the generous offer.  If we do not find something that fits our needs locally, who knows, perhaps we can make something work.

Thanks again...............
