It is steep but (what isn't?) look at what you get and CHI-COM doesn't match it).

I would rather have the IGN II unless a serious thumper.

I wasn't aware that an Ignitor III would work in a Y-block distributor, only Ignitor I & II. 

Price is steep for a non tach-drive distributor.

thanks all - had a guy contact me to ask for sources. Was not aware that many of the major parts houses have dried up on otherwise rebuilt OEM units while the aftermarket continues to proliferate.

A warning.  Cardone was selling re-manufactured units bu they were using 289/302 croes which turned out were a mite too short so beware.

If it's an original distributor, you'll have to supply a rebuildable core. Affordable aftermarket electronic distributors, like CRT/TSP are available.
