What vehicle would this have some on? It came in the parts tote for my 54 Lincoln. Since I'm switching to an Edelbrock 500 carb, maybe it'll work on it????

50's Cadillac air cleaner. Very desirable hot rod item. If no base one from an aftermarket one may work.
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

Moonshadow has it right. Just need a couple measurements when the time comes, and an inexpensive air cleaner with the right base and size/height element will make it work. Similar to how my 55 bird air cleaner was adapting to my Eddy.

Do the openings face front or rear? I was wondering if there's a way to run some air ducts from the air intake my car has coming from under the headlights across the top sides of the engine bay. Connect to the air cleaner.

It is known as the "Batwing" air cleaner, and it's being reproduced.

I’ve never heard these called batwings. Batwings were alway dualquad air cleaners on GM car prior to the multicarb entries of the 1958 scrubrolets. …56-57 scrubrolet’s, 56-58 Cadillac Eldorado's and 56-57 Packards all had Batwings and some were reversed to miss mastercylinders… These are the ones I remember. The one shown was on Oldsmobile and Cadillac single 4 Barrel in 55-56 for sure when hoods were higher and oil baths were primarily used…

On the original cars the scoops faced forwards.

It’s all meaning less today with infiltration of words from Australia, New Zealand, Europe. Zero is now nil, right on is now spot on and I don’t care to hear an English accent on a NASCAR race. What I have always known as a “Bat Wing”. This is a top from a dual quad Cadillac, scrubs and Packards are similar.
