Any Ford Y Block distributor after 1956 will work just fine.. Just swap gears..  If you can find a truck manifold from a 57 to 63 332 truck engine, you get the modern Holley carb pattern.. it's a nice upgrade

And the oil pump. Does the pump get replaced or can I use mine and change the shaft, if that's a thing? If it gets swapped, what year, engine size, vehicle should it come from?

If your pump has a slot drive you need to replace it with one with a hex drive.. Lincoln and Ford Y block pumps are all the same from 56-64
