Just wanted to add some closure to this topic. I have finished installing the original 4 barrel Holley teapot and manifold on my 56 victoria. Being that my motor came from a 59 truck with small valve heads and I am not a hot rodder, I figured the small 4 barrel would work fine for me. I runs great with no hesitation that it had before. The motor revs immediately no matter how many times I rev it. I did not need to drill holes or switch jets. Thank you Ted for the article on modifications and to the others who chimed in. George By the way, those see through gasoline filters come in handy when you are adjusting the idle screws. You can watch the bubbles bounce or settle down while you are doing the adjustments. Works for me.
