I’d like to comment on your photo of the green valley cover with the grommet. This is perfect one for the PVC system installation but one needed to plug hole in the center at the bottom. If not the valve will suck oil. Ted has directed those using this style to do this.

Yup - I know. However, I ran this cover on my 312 powered 54 Ford and didn't experience this. Lucky, maybe, but then the hole is small. DryLakesRacer (3/10/2022)

Do you still have the fan spacer? Can't find mine since I took the engine apart a year ago. I'm rebuilding my 317 lyb but don't know if this'll fit. I'll take another look at the manual but let me know in the meantime. Thx
