After communicating with Clay Smith, Topline Hylift Johnson, and others, I learned that Topline supplies lifters to Clay Smith, Isky, and Comp Cams. The Comp Cams lifters are advertised "Made in America," and Toplines are made in Michigan. After getting a prompt refund for the Taiwan lifters, I ordered a set of the Comp Cams lifters from Scoggin Dickey in Lubbock, TX.

Isn't this the company that furnishes lifters to Isky?

I used Com Cams lifters in my current motor. I have no idea where they were made. No problems so far.

In a not too recent blurb by John Mummert, he indicated that some Y-Block parts are just not available any longer made in the USA... However, not all are coming from Asia. For instance, the roller timing sets are out of Australia & another item that escapes me at the moment, is made somewhere in S.America..

Unless John moved to Iowa, they didn't come from him.
