hi all just a quick one here, can anyone please tell me the piston pin height for 256 y block and 272 yblock . i have sets of pistons to sell but i know the 2 mentioned have different measurements??

The replacement piston wrist pin height for the Mercury 256 is 1.875” while the replacement piston wrist pin height for the Ford 272 engine is 1.777”. The 292 and 312 engines share the same wrist pin location in the pistons as the 272 engines.
