What year is your car? The electrical installation manual usually has this info). I know the one for an early Bird had the info (a little hard to read), assume the sedan one (I guess there is a manual for the sedans) would have it.
If any one knows that the Tbird electrical system is the same, I can email a copy

Item # 372647096007 on Ebay is exactly what You need. Laminated color Wiring Diagram. That's for 1956. They also have them for '55 if that's what You need. I have One. Very useful as colored diagram uses same color as actual Wiring on the Car.

I finally gave up on all the confusion and bought one of the color diagrams from EBAY. They are wonderful all the wire colors are there and the routing. Worth the money.

If it’s the classicwiring.com for about $20 and 11x17 it’s saved my butt a bunch especially when I found the inline fuse to the flasher. If talked it up over on the HAMB.

Those pesky little rubber blocks with wires going in and out! Make sure if you pull wires out of them they are tagged not only for the wire colors in and out but also for the exact pin locations. There are often multiple changes in the in and out wires. If they are not put back in the right colors and right holes you could have a mess on your hands. On the diagram just left of center where a mass of wires go to is the diagram for those little blocks and wire colors.
