I was digging through some old photos the other day, while doing this I came across and scanned some old photos of my '56 taken in 1962 and possibly 1963.
This is my '56 taken a couple weeks ago, still using compound to remove the rust out of the paint just had bad weather and not able to do it last week nor this week.
And the photos I found of my '56 taken back in '62 and I think '63
I think this first one might have been taken before Hurricane Carla hit but no way of knowing for sure.
This next one was taken in '62 based off the license plate. Dent in bumper next to left most center bumper bolt is still on the vehicle as can be seen above.
And the last photo I was able to find of the car, no known date on this photo but it confirmed my suspicion that the car had a padded dashboard at one time. It also told me the car originally had beauty rings on it which I believe are Ford optional beauty rings. I am currently keeping an eye on ebay for finding a nos set of 5 of them under the proper part number.
In the end was interesting to find these old photos, but while looking at photos of the car today more recently I realize I need to get more photos as I got most of the roof compounded out back to the original paint.
Just something I thought id share.
