I just picked up a 2x2 edmunds for my 368 off e-bay. I'm trying to decide how i should set it up. It has teapots on it currently, should i run those, or trade them out for a different carb? I'm not opposed to going a pair of era correct modern type holleys, but i'm a little too afraid of it looking too modern with them. I know things like 94's or 97's are gunna be way too small. This motor is the backup for my 292 in my '59 fairlane daily driver but may get slid into a '49 ford that i have.

If it currently has teapots, which are 4 barrels so 2x4s, then those carbs will not work on your 2x2s manifold so you will need different carbs. Big Strombergs are available, 250cfm each. Those will be best for a vintage look. Otherwise, it's something modern.

These carbs, i've always heard these called teapots too https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-EDMUNDS-1952-1953-1954-LINCOLN-DUAL-CARB-INTAKE-MANIFOLD-HOT-ROD-317-341-/173482713943?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=4rfrIZObdmP%252B8ckfx9CTNUg469g%253D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc

There a guy named scicala on here occasionally, but on the Ford Barn pretty often. Try contacting him, he’s a well known rebuilder of the older and odd ball carbs. Including teapots in the 2 and 4 barrel versions.

I'm not scared of the rebuild, just looking at it from a performance stance.
They are 1901 model holleys.... Anyone know the CFM of a pair of them? Am i going to be starving the motor worse than the WCFB or 4bbl teapot that they came with?

I’m guessing around 400 cfm for the pair of model 1901 Holleys. They look to be the 2V version of the model 2140 4V Holleys and I’ve always considered the 2140’s to be about 375 cfm with the choke plate located within the venturi. The model 1901 2V I have here has no choke within the venturi so I would consider it slightly higher in cfm; hence the 200 cfm estimate per carb. Assuming you have the carbs and they look usable, I’d give them a try. I suspect that your 368 will be under-carburetted at the higher rpms but would expect them to be good drivers otherwise.
