Joe. Frank Rice is the original source for the aluminum 'Bird thermostat housings. The castings and machining work are excellent and the bypass tube is stainless steel. While a long time Forum member, I'd recommend emailing Frank direct at peglegrice@frontier.com with your inquiry. Hope this helps.

Joe: Unless he's out of stock, John Mummert lists aluminum thermostat housings on his site @ $56.00

When I asked, he only had car and truck housings, no Thunderbird. Joe-JDC

Still looking for aluminum thermostat housing for Thunderbird. The one I received was for a car or truck, not T-bird. Anyone have a spare, or even a real stock one that can be blasted, cleaned, and painted? Joe-JDC
