Starting to see folks post they have a 352 Y-Block I thought the 352 was an FE
Am I wrong, or has this motor fell into the Y-Block family

Some people do call FE's Y Blocks even though they were not ever known as that to the best of my knowledge.  They do have similar deep skirt design so I think that's where it comes from.  But so do Hemi's and other Chrysler big blocks, LS's and many more.  No one's calling those Y Blocks.

Another possibility is that the 352 is a stroked 292 or 312.  There is at least one of those that I know of.

FE's are not what is known as the Y-Block.  You order Y Block parts for your FE and you will have a hard time getting it assembled.

you would be able to use an FE fuel pump, but I think that is about all

352” Y-Blocks are built out of 292’s and 312’s simply due to the novelty of the number.  I’ve seen two with one being a 3.860” bore X 3.76” stroke.  The other one was in the neighborhood of 3.945” bore X 3.600” stroke.  348, 350, & 351 simply doesn't have the same charm as a 352.  I go out of my way so the engines are not 327 cubic inches for the same reasons.
