I have two rocker arm assemblies that have the number 70 on the rockers. I assume the rockers are aftermarket and probably 1.43 ratio. Can anyone verify this?
Thanks

Paul 2748: By an article in YBM, Nov/ Dec 2017, #143, those rockers should also be marked ECG - - - - A2, (yes no?) And are 1956 -1:54 ratio with 2 pce adjusters. 1957s are end marked B2, with interference adjusters.. And a side note for the uninformed. Interference style adjusters are a different thread & will not work in earlier rockers! And further, according to J. Mummert, in a YBM article, some aftermarket adjuster balls are the wrong dimensions which has resulted in valve train failures that have been posted on here & in Y- Blk magazine..

Paul - no other number other then the 70 on the rockers. The 70 is above the hole for the shaft, not on the part that hold the adjuster as shown in the article. No ECG or 575 . Interference fit so the later style. I have the YBM issue. I took the adjusters out, but replaced them. They seem to be the stock Ford size. PF Arcand (3/8/2018)

Sounds like an aftermarket replacement rocker arm, I have had many of these.
