I was searching for a part and in the process found a handle for the back tailgate window of a 50's Ford.  The part number cast inside is BA94304-A. I have the thick Ford parts manual and cannot find this part number in it. Closest I found was BA94300-A which is for 53 or 54 Ford. Can anyone ID this part and what year wagon it goes on.  Thanks

On page 656 of the 49-59 illustration catalog shows your handle.  It is for a 53/54 with lift gate, part # BA 5943400-A.  Casting numbers are usually different than part numbers.

Genuinerod, I guess we have the same parts catalog! The illustration is on page 656 of mine. What I found odd was the fact that the last 2 digits(04) were stamped slightly larger than the rest of the part number. Anyways, I am pretty confident it is 53/54 part.  I will need to find a home for this part and few others from when I had my 55 wagon. Wish I still had it. Thanks for your help.
