I have a 54 Ranch Wagon with a moderately modified 312 with a T85 w/od. The standard clutch replacement does ok on normal driving but slips under load Any recommendations appreciated

I have used a Centerforce dual friction pressure late and disk in two cars with good luck. One is behind a Yblock with a top loader 4 speed. You may have to make a modification to the fklywheel.

I always use the base model Centerforce now. They just work, and the effort is less. I’m not racing, and don’t do full throttle upshifts. Just drive them. But you can side step them at 3000 or so and they don’t slip.
