I have an old drag car from the 70s that is very original and I want to keep it that way. I have a problem with  spark that I think is the coil even though I have bench tested it and it tests good. It is a Blue Steak air cooled super pro coil. Is there any way to test with a load so I can see if it is getting hot? Can it be rebuilt?  Thanks!

Run the engine and point an infrared thermometer at the coil.  You'll know if it's getting hot and how hot.
