If You read my Post regarding my Carburetor Problems I would like to try and find a Throttle Body for this before I give up on it. Shame to discard a basically unused Main Body because some Idiot tried to improve on it and ruined it. Anyone have a good Throttle Body from a Scrap Carburetor? Only One that Fits is from another 1848 Carb. Thanks

  

Are you referring to the base plate where the butterflies are located, or the main body?  A throttle body is a term used for EFI air control.  Joe-JDC

The Base Plate with Butterfly's..FYI-The Holley Parts Catalog lists this Part as "Throttle Body & Shaft Assembly".

  

Not in my Holley catalog, but, there is a first time for everything.  I have a couple of cores, I will check tomorrow and see if I have a base plate assembly you might use.  I have been blue-printing Holleys since the mid '60s and that is a new one for me.    Joe-JDC
