I just wanted to post some pictures of my Y-block.  And yes green is the correct color for a LYB.

What a beautiful car and engine.  My father sold Lincoln Mercury in the mid 50's  in Long Beach California.  Somewhere I have a picture of us kids in a 57 Dark Blue Lincoln Premier Convertible. I will try to post it when I find it.
For me at that time I thought it to be the worlds the1957 Lincoln  most beautiful car and built a few model cars of it.
It surprises me that more of these do not turn up in car shows or even the custom world.
