I converted my carb to manual choke. Is there a aftermarket choke cable that will work with the stock dash bezel? I want to retain the factory look.

I converted a spare vent cable I had into a choke cable and used it with an original bezzle.
I drilled a new position for it so it matched in with the rest of the switches in the dash

Do you remember how long the vent cable was? My cable now is too short

NAPA can sell you a universal choke cable, vinyl covered, pretty much identical to the factory cables. When I put the T-5 in the bird I used the O/D handle and location for the choke.

Sorry, too many years ago. I think I just walked in the store, they looked it up, I choose the vinyl covered one and had it the next day. I think I cut the molded knob off to rig the new handle.

I take it you were able to retain the stock choke bezel?

I just used the longest vent cable I had and then cut it down to suit the length for the choke.
You can pull the inner out and then cut the outer to suit.
This way you retain the original knob and bezzle
