Took the aluminum wheels off and went back to steelies and the original small hubcaps,I need to get the Y block back in as I think it now needs the 4 speed I have laying around in the garage.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/49203eb9-fa6d-4b22-919e-8c5c.jpghttp://forums.y-blocksforever.com/uploads/images/96b02388-9b89-4403-ae50-13fb.jpg

I have used simple green , and yes it works very well, I also have used Castrol super cleaner  ( the purple stuff ) and it also works very well. I never have had a problem with the white walls on my Merc. , and I have been using the bleche-white for about 10 years now. I may have to replace the tires, just because of the age, but the white wall and the tread is still good . I have owned the Merc. since '94, and used the bleche-white on the old bias -ply tires without any problems there either. Just my experiences, and I am by no means any type of expert. this is just what has worked for me.---Jim
