Duck: It seems to me that the likely hood of finding a set of 312 STD (50 yr old) pistons that are not badly worn, is remote. Since you have to go through the labor & cost of a reassembly of the engine anyway, you can get new original pistons from Schumann's Sales in Iowa for $160 a set. Not much in the scheme of redoing an engine. They are at (563) 381-2416.

Paul- I suspect you're right, but I figured I'd do a little fishing before before I pulled the trigger on a new set. My budget for this motor isn't all I'd hoped it would be... Sad - Thank You- Duck
