Since your not getting anything here, you might try over at the fordbarn.com. Someone there might know if there's any pass car / bird interchange. I did one many years ago, using a pass car pedal, and hydraulic clutch with a slave cylinder. I didn't know enough to properly size the hydraulics, and it was stiff as heck. Today, with all the other options, I could do better. My roadster has a TKO500, with a hydraulic throw out bearing. Some T-5's used cables I think. If you find an answer, let us know.

Hi, I have a standard trans that I removed from my 1956 T bird and returning it back to automatic. I have the pedal etc. but an incorrect shifter. It has bell housing, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. Let me know what you think. John akrendo@gmail.comI am in West Chester PA. I go to spring Carlisle.

If original tbird parts yes, can you pm me prices on what you have please. Gary Gary, I'm glad that you're getting some leads on the parts you need. About John's posting to you yesterday... He's new to this Forum yesterday. Yes, you listed your phone number earlier in this thread, but... Consider sending him an email at the Internet address that he shared and then he can reply to you. Unfortunately, our Forum email system and the PM (personal message?) options work for some members' accounts and not for others. Too, I don't think that John knows that your phone number is three hours away from him in PA. Good Luck to you both.
