This is another of those 'How Much !?!' examples from eBay. I've always liked the uniqueness of '55-'56 Merc wagon taillights when used on a '55 or '56 Ford... Seems like Brodie has a set on his '55... These were just sold on eBay. Click the link below to see what five bidders drove them up to... NOTE: you may have to scroll down on the page that opens to see the ad. Click on the number of bids if you want to see how the bidding evolved. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1955-mercury-station-wagon-tail-light-assy-/331725019386?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=GjNqy1oHQ7swmNJsWEDZPXcS%252FAY%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc

Yes, I do have a set on my 55, but nowhere near as nice as these. In fact, I bought and sold 2 other sets until I got a set that was good enough driver quality that I could live with. Even then I spent around $ 400.00 more for reproduced lenses. If I do the math for three then those seem to be what the market bears. Hen's teeth ain't cheap!

Eventually someone will start to re-pop them like the 56 Fairlane tail light/back-up housings and the cost will come down. Unfortunately, the quality will also probably go down. Rono

I agree with Rono, re-pops are not as good as the originals.
