Some photos of progress on my Y-Block powered dragster. My friend Mike Osburn has been working hard to finish it up. A lot of neat old speed stuff on it. Should be done for next years meets. Sorry the photos aren't good guilty, will get better one and post later. Larry Short

That sure will be one hell of a ride! Wheelie Bars truly required. Looking really good and surely...

Thanks, the dragster is a 1950s original made by Lyndwood Welding Co. in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. Their cars set many records all over the U.S. I'm sure it won't pass inspection by NHRA but there's tracks that will let you make a pass or two. No wheelie bars, want to keep it original as I can. Larry Short

Ok Larry, I'll ask again about bars after you have done couple of "exhibition" runs and entertained the crowds .

Too bad, the weather is too bad . Raining and almost freezing. 6 months to next race, so we have time to open up the engine and change bearings and piston rings. Also need to make new charge air pipes from intercoolers to intakes and from turbos to intercoolers. Some day, some day...

Looking good Larry, our buddy Mike does great work! He stopped by my place a few weeks ago to pick up some Falcon parts and showed me the progress photos. We are having our first Southern Outlaw Gasser race of 2016 @ Atmore March 26. See if you can fit it into your schdule, we would love to have you down in LA.
