I hit the guard rail at the Pure stock race in Michigan a couple weeks ago. Car got loose coming out, and a crosswind pushed me into the left guardrail, bounced of that to the right. Got damage on both sides. Oh, jeez...glad you're OK! Cars are easier to fix than people. Todd

Glad you're OK Frank. By the way the bumper I have does not need plating for a local show car but for a 100 point car then probably, shelf wear is minimal. Still a very nice nos original.

Frank, send me your address, after looking closer the rear one that I have it is not in the best of shape. It has been drilled for a trailer hitch. The fr one is pretty solid just need replating. I am going to see if I can get it on a Greyhound bus if you want it. Truck freight is going to be more than it is worth in my opinion. Another option is a relay of some sort, I will be glad to meet if you know anyone traveling I65. Just let me know if I can help, sorry about the crash, glad it was just a couple of bumpers.

Darn, that's bad news. Glad you are ok but how bad is the car? Did you get away with just bumper damage? Very sorry to hear about your problem. Chuck

I belong to an anthracite coal forum. The guys on there ship coal stoves they buy on Craig's list by Fastenall. They ship from one store location to another store location. There's another possibility.

I also would be interested in a front and rear bumper for a 59 Fairlane Thanks Dave Dave. You’ll likely get more response if you’ll make a new listing for the bumpers you are looking for. Attaching your needs to Frank’s post will have people overlooking bumpers for a 1959 Ford.
