My Customline will be sharing the garage soon with a friend but she doesn't have a Y
I just bought a 1964 Thunderbird with the standard FE.
Like the Customline, I have alwys wanted one of these and there weren't many to pick from in Aus so I bit the bullet and have taken an eBay gamble in the USA.
It will probably take 3 months to get here with all the paperwork and shipping though.

I reckon if it is 80% as it appears in the photos and video I have of it, it should be OK.

Bound to be some marks and scratches that don't show up on camera

It's the body filler that doesn't show up in the pictures you have to worry about. I have seen the occasional good car that has been bought on the internet though.

If it's got bog then so be it.

T Birds are pretty common over there so you have plenty to choose from - project to concourse, but out here they are a bit of a rarity with most people preferring to import Mustangs and Chevs.

The ones that are here and are for sale don't really do much for me so I have to take a gamble over there and see what I get

Good choice I hope it is as good as it looks. I love those 64 -66 Thunderbirds, they have the best interior of any car Ive seen, the swing out wheel is a blast! I think the only thing with those is there are a lot of parts that run on vacuum cans and hoses etc .. the wipers run off the steering pump or something strange like that. Such a cool car..  Update when you get it.
