Picked up a 2X4 intake at Carlisle and it has 2 passages that criss cross under the the center exhaust passages so there is a plug each side of the exhaust crossover openings, it has 2 plugs on the bottom, 1 plug in the number 1 runner, it is an ECG9424-D but in the date code there is only an "S". I tried posting pics previously but it knocked me off the site when doing so. Are these all typical features or do I have an oddity here?
When I try to insert a pic, I get a message that it cannot find an instance of the editor? Whats this all about???

Billy.  The two passages you mention were for the automatic chokes and both carbs were hooked up to those passages.  The S designates Schmeller Aluminum Foundry and is typically found on the bottom of the manifold.  The date code on those manifolds is normally on top located just behind the thermostat housing area.  If your ‘S’ is on the top of the manifold, then that is an oddity.

Billy.  I get that same error message when trying to post pictures.  That started occurring with the last site upgrade.  Each software upgrade seems to fix one problem while making another.  Jim is working with the software people to get that particular problem addressed.
